I’m New

Sabbath School: This is the first of our worship services on Saturday morning. The adults meet in groups to discuss a passage in the Bible or a particular subject that has been assigned for study during the week. The children meet in different groups according to their age to learn Bible stories and principles, and their programme comprises songs, craft activities and games.

Worship Service: We meet on Saturday morning for worship, and our weekly meeting offers an informal family atmosphere where God is worshipped, the Bible is taught, and people genuinely care about each other. Although there are variations from week to week, the worship service typically comprises singing, prayer, giving, and a practical message of instruction and encouragement from the Bible. There is also a part in the service especially designed for children.

Our Beliefs

Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as their only creed and hold certain fundamental beliefs to be the teaching of the Holy Scriptures. These beliefs, as set forth here, constitute the church’s understanding and expression of the teaching of Scripture. Revision of these statements may be expected at a General Conference session when the church is led by the Holy Spirit to a fuller understanding of Bible truth or finds better language in which to express the teachings of God’s Holy Word.

Holy Scriptures

The Holy Scriptures, Old and New Testaments, are the written Word of God, given by divine inspiration through holy men of God who spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. In this Word, God has committed to man the knowledge necessary for salvation. The Holy Scriptures are the infallible revelation of His will. They are the standard of character, the test of experience, the authoritative revealer of doctrines, and the trustworthy record of God’s acts in history. (2 Peter 1:20, 21; 2 Tim. 3:16, 17; Ps. 119:105; Prov. 30:5, 6; Isa. 8:20; John 17:17; 1 Thess. 2:13; Heb. 4:12.)
