Meet our Pastors

Mark Baines (Snr. Pastor)

Mark grew up as a pastor’s kid who spent his  childhood living in places such as Fiji, Tasmania, Queensland and Sydney. He entered paid pastoral work in 2001 and has served as a youth pastor, school chaplain, and pastor of churches in NZ, Melbourne and NSW. He’s also taken a break from pastoring to do classroom teaching, surf photography and employment promotions work. Mark has been pastoring in Sydney the past 10 years, and is currently also pastoring two other churches on the Northern Beaches.

Mark is married to Terese, and they have two boys Kynan and Zeke. They enjoy travel and backyard cricket and basketball battles. Mark also loves surfing, audiobooks, black gospel music, and eating dessert first. He enjoys getting to know people and has a desire for the love of Jesus to be experienced by everyone he meets.
